Payment Arrangement

At Far Hills Surgical Center, like most other healthcare providers, we bill your insurance for you. In addition, we are always happy to answer any questions you may have regarding insurance coverage or billing procedures. Please keep in mind, there are things you can do to help us get your bill to the insurance correctly and minimize the number of statements you might receive.

• Please bring your insurance cards with you to the Surgical Center (very important!)
• Please be prepared to pay co-payments on the day of surgery.
• It is the responsibility of each patient to know whether their insurance plan covers their care.

Any patient with no insurance or whose insurance does not cover the surgical procedure to be performed should make arrangements through the business office to pay for his or her procedure prior to the day of surgery. For your convenience we accept cash, personal check, VISA, Mastercard, and Discover.

Your bill from the surgery center covers supplies, equipment, personnel and the use of the OR, pre-op, and recovery rooms. You will also receive separate bills from the following providers of service (if applicable):

• Anesthesia (Anesthesiology Services Network)
• Laboratory (CompuNet Clinical Laboratories)
• Pathology (Valley Pathologists)
• Radiology (Radiology Physicians, Inc)
• Durable Medical Equipment
